I do not wish to record the footage, and then edit it, because I am doing this for livestream and the camera will run approximately 3-4 hours (Yes, I am aware this is not recommended, because of the stress to the sensor, so I've read.)Īttempt 1: I downloaded a software called "Sparkocam" which apparently hooks your DSLR up and reads it so that it can output like a webcam.
My Problem No matter what I do, I cannot get my PC to get a really nice quality live reading from the camera. When I am capturing the capture card content, or games run from the PC, I am able to get the gameplay at the proper framerate.
I am currently using a capture card (Avermedia PCIe capture card capable of capturing 60 fps through HDMI), a Windows desktop computer, the software "OBS Studio" (Open Broadcast Studio) to livestream the capture card's content. I have been told that people are able to actually achieve the really fluid 60 FPS captures by using Handicams and the like, and the reality is that I may actually have to purchase one to achieve this result. Setup I am using a Nikon D7100 DSLR Camera. Here's a bit more about my setup, and the attempts I have taken. So, the end goal is to find a method to capture a really high quality 60 FPS Webcam for the livestream! I have looked in to the Logitech C922, and the Razer Stargazer webcams which are supposedly 60fps cameras, but, they'll never really compare to a DSLR's quality. I currently am using the Logitech C920 (which is pretty defacto in beginner livestreaming) but I'm interested in taking the next step up. What is the End Goal? I'm not sure how familiar you are with what I do, but basically my current goal is to capture a really fluid webcam for my livestream content. My goal and my personal creed is to continually increase the production values of the show, so this is the next step for me.
What do I do? Particularly, I livestream 5 nights a week. Who I am! Nice to meet y'all! My name is Jordan, but I go online by the username "Oshikorosu." I am a YouTube content creator / Livestreamer. I will list the issues I have attempted to resolve and how I've done so, as well. Use the same webcam together in multiple video chats and record videos using SparkoCam.Hey, all! I'd like to ask a question about my situation, so I'll explain a bit of who I am, what I do, and what my end goals are. Record perfect quality videos from your DSLR or USB camera and stream them later in chat. Share your video clips with friends through various chat applications even without a real camera. Add picture and animation objects, and create special objects by importing images from your hard drive. Using SparkoCam you can watch through anaglyph glasses and enjoy stereoscopic 3D effects. Add more fun to your video chat by adding webcam visual effects to your videos.
Display your desktop screen and show what is happening on your desktop via webcam. SparkoCam automatically replaces the green background with the selected background image in real time. Turn a Canon DSLR or Nikon DSLR camera into a webcam and use it in chat or to record videos. SparkoCam allows you to use various sources: You can use a conventional webcam or Canon PowerShot or DSLR camera, import videos and photos from a computer and broadcast them via webcam. Allows you to add video effects for broadcasting and apply webcam effects directly to chat and video recordings. SparkoCam 2.6.8 is an easy-to-use all-in-one webcam program.
